Project Ten Pan Tag!

A few weeks ago, my beautiful friend Zenorah tagged me in her ‘Project 10 Pan Tag’ video. I think we all have those items that we want to finish up, so after some thinking and looking through my makeup stash, I finally made a decision! I also definitely recommend watching Zenorah’s video too, because she talks about how her trip to India influenced her decision to do this video and this project.

I didn’t go to India, but I too have been downsizing things and being more purposeful about purchases. I have mentioned this previously, but my grandmother was a hoarder (not an exaggeration-seriously like the television show), so I get anxiety sometimes if I feel there’s too much clutter happening. Anyway, I think this is a great way to continue on that path, so I was eager to take part in Zenorah’s tag! 🙂

I chose my items based on a few factors- stuff that needs to be used due to age/condition, and stuff that I have an abundance of already.

The first item I chose is the Benefit Stay Flawless primer. While I stand by my original review that this item is a good primer, I wouldn’t purchase it again, because once you reach a certain point in the tube, the product just crumbles away, which is really disappointing! I don’t have much left with this.

MAC Mineralize Loose Foundation– I really want to buy the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush foundation, but I’ve decided I’m not getting it until I at least finish this mineral foundation. I like this foundation just fine, so I want to use it!

MAC Creme d’Nude lipstick– This is my most used lipstick and my favorite. My tube is getting pretty beat up, so I’d like to use it up.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer– I’m not sure if I’ll EVER be done with this concealer, but I’d like to try since it was expensive and I’ve had it for awhile. This is a great product and definitely a favorite of mine.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Finishing Powder– I love this powder and have made a decent dent in it, but because I have MANY backups of Maybelline Dream Matte powder (*the angels sing* HG material), I would like to use up some of my other powders.

MAC Sun Dipped Bronzer– I’ve been trying to hit pan on this one for awhile! There is a big dip in it but no pan yet. This is an awesome bronzer and it wears nicely.

Covergirl 3-in-1 Stay Fabulous Foundation– I have about a third of this bottle left. I love this foundation so it will be a pleasure to use the rest of it.

Tarte Exposed Blush– This is the only blush I’ve ever hit pan on! I’d like to use the rest of this up since I have similar colors (and wayyy too much blush!).

MAC Lustreglass in Love Nectar– This is definitely a favorite of mine, but this gloss is getting to the end of its life and needs to be used up.

Finally, the last product I chose is the Bare Minerals Round the Clock Eye Liner in Brown. This is a beautifully creamy, long-lasting eyeliner, but I have SO many eyeliners that it’s just ridiculous. 🙂 This is definitely a favorite, but I want to use it before it goes bad.

I’m going to update my project pan on the first of the month (I even have it written in my planner this time), so check back for some progress!

I tag anyone who wants to do this; please share your link with me! 🙂

I love reading about project pans! It’s always shocking how long makeup holds on when it looks like it’s nearly finished.
