Monat Global Rejuveniqe Hair Oil Review

A new oil is coming to town: Rejuveniqe oil from Monat Global. I’m into testing oils right now, so it was a treat to receive this from iFabbo. I’ve never heard of this oil before but it seems to be getting some buzz in the beauty world lately.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Nourish and energize the scalp with an invigorating blend of 11+ unique molecular ingredients –including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, beta-carotene and omega-3 fatty acids – that mimic the body’s natural oils! The proprietary formula reduces hair thinning, prevents oxidative stress and adds incredible volume, repairing the hair with instantly visible, long-lasting shine without the damaging effects of silicone.

This struck me as interesting, because I am a user of Biotrue contact solution. If you know anything about Biotrue, it is “inspired by the biology of your eyes”. It also happens to be the best contact solution I’ve ever used, and I notice a difference when I don’t use it. Because this oil is supposed to mimic your body’s oils, I wondered if it would act in a similar fashion to Biotrue, i.e. being amazing.

The packaging of the oil is amazing. It is heavy duty, chic, and the cap has a pump on the top, making it really easy to dispense the oil. I love the packaging!

I’ve been using this for about a month now and I am really impressed with it. It smells AMAZING- like fresh lemons, so that alone made me an addict. This is mostly marketed as a hair oil and it has a lot of claims regarding long term benefits. Here are the “clinically proven” results:

Increase in hair growth
Decrease in DHT (hormone that contributes to hair loss)
Increase in hair follicle strength
Increase in repair effect improving hair anchoring
Increase in collagen directly increasing follicle size
Increased manageability
Decrease in fiber breakage
Reduced breakage and brittleness
Natural shine

Does not contain:

  • Phthalates
  • PEG
  • DEA/MEA
  • Sulfates
  • Parabens
  • Harsh salt systems
  • Harmful colors
  • Harmful fragrances

What I noticed when using this on my hair is that it is super soft and shiny. I also barely need a drop of this for my entire head, which is just mind-blowing to me, because I have long hair. I found this out by going overboard with too much on my first use. From then on, I’ve used sparingly. It makes my hair smell fantastic, too! I can’t really say whether or not my hair has grown or strengthened, but since applying it to my ends, they seem healthier. The oil also doesn’t weigh my hair down.

Besides hair, I’ve used this on my cuticles and dry patches of skin. It absorbs quickly and is very nourishing.

Compared to argan oil, I feel like this product is more heavy duty and nourishing. I definitely needed to use less of this. Rejuveniqe is $99 for one ounce and is made in the USA.

I am quickly falling in love with this oil and think it is one of the best I’ve used! It’s very luxurious. One of the things Monat recommends is to use it as a deep conditioning mask for 30 minutes before shampooing. I may have to try this method!
