Urban Decay Ultra Nourishing Lip Gloss in Nooner

Another Urban Decay review today, with another new-to-me product: the Ultra Nourishing Lip Gloss in the shade Nooner. I purchased this in November, so I’ve had a decent amount of time to decide how I feel about it, and I have to say that this is becoming a go-to gloss for me. While I like a good drugstore lip gloss, my favorites tend to be mid-range (like Buxom). Nooner is a nice neutral pink color.

When I first saw swatches of these glosses upon release, I thought they all looked the same, so they kind of fell off of my radar. All summer I gravitated toward these in Ulta, swatching them, but never buying. I’m glad that I finally picked one of these up, because the formula is SO nice! The packaging is gorgeous and sturdy as well; I don’t see this getting ruined in my purse.

This gloss is not sticky AT ALL. If you hate lip gloss because it is sticky, this is a great one to try. The worst is when gloss is so sticky that your lips feel like they’re peeling apart-ever get that? This isn’t like that whatsoever. I really like the color of Nooner because it truly goes with everything. This gloss also has high shine, and has a very subtle minty smell and is a little tingly, but not as intense as the tingle of Buxom glosses.

The color is more of a sheer wash of color rather than something crazy pigmented. My lips are really sensitive at this time of year due to dryness and the color weather, and this gloss doesn’t bother my skin or make my lips dry out.

I’m a fan! 🙂
