Sephora + Pantone Universe Marsala Blush Palette

M1

When the Marsala stuff came rolling out, I seriously wanted everything in the collection. That is a little overboard, so I decided to allow myself one purchase for now: the blush palette (though that eyeshadow palette is calling me like a siren). I’ve seen so many positive reviews on this palette, and I’m happy to report that I am also a huge fan of it.

The packaging is really luxurious (aka it’s SHINY), and the quality of the product inside definitely surpasses the $28 price tag.

The palette comes with a peachy highlight, a peach blush, and then the Marsala blush, which is the largest in the palette. It is darker than it looks here (the sun is washing it out).

As you can see, the Marsala blush is kind of a rusty pink burgundy color. All shades are very pigmented and easy to blend. They are a touch powdery, but nothing that causes problems.

I found the palette to wear well and be long-lasting on my skin. I didn’t have to touch up throughout the day (the photo above is about 6 hours of wear).

Right now (at least as of writing this) almost everything in the Marsala/Pantone collection is sold out online. I checked the availability in my local store and they seem to have everything in stock, so it’s worth checking locally if you really have a desire to get your hands on it. πŸ™‚

I think this definitely going to become a major favorite and much used item for me.

Nice! I think I’d try to use the Marsala as an eyeshadow, just to make things edgier. That palette is how I envisioned Marsala to start making its way into makeup. Beautifully done by Sephora. πŸ™‚
