Starlooks has something called “Starlines”, which has celebrity collaborations to their makeup lines. I had no idea who Scheana Marie was and totally had to Google it. Apparently she is on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, which I don’t watch, but my sister does! Anyway, I loved the colors in her line, so I purchased the eyeshadow quad and the blush in December.
I’m not a big fan of the packaging for the eyeshadow, as it looks and feels really cheap. That said, I’m happy to say the quality of the packaging doesn’t reflect the actual product. At first, I thought the eyeshadows wouldn’t be pigmented, but when used with a brush, they proved to blend easily and are pigmented.
What I love about the eyeshadow palette ($15) is that it’s neutral, but has something different to it with that fun peach shadow, which isn’t something you always see in a quad. The brown color is matte and works well for brows too. The color that has the best quality is actually the highlight shade. It is softer and more pigmented than the other colors.
The blush is called Fresh Squeezed ($21) and reminds me of the MAC All About Orange collection blushes. This will likely be in my favorites this month, as I wore it for a week straight, which is something I NEVER do!
The blush is the definite winner here for me. I love this color and will definitely get a lot of use out of it this spring.
