I was really excited to get this Dior cleansing oil in my Sephora 500-point perk, especially after hearing Holly rave about it. I’m fairly new to cleansing oils, but I have tried a few here and there. There was a little bit of a learning curve in using it for me, and it definitely works better when applying with your hands. 🙂
The scent might be offensive to some. It has a touch of floral mixed with some kind of citrus, but I don’t find it overwhelming.
A lot of reviews state that this removes eye makeup, but personally, I don’t use it for that because I wear contacts and don’t want to risk my eyes being cloudy, even if I’ve already taken them out. I also don’t like the idea of my contacts getting oil in them.
That said, I really like this for removing my facial makeup. It breaks everything up and removes it effectively, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. When it lathers, it turns into a more milky texture and is easy to rinse away.
The Dior cleansing oil does a really good job of removing makeup and leaving skin clean. I like it, but am not in a committed relationship with it just yet. 😉 I do have some other cleansing oils to test out, so I’m eager to see which one I like the best!
