Today I have a very easy eye look that combines some warmer shadows with a touch of smokiness. 🙂 I used all MAC shadows here: Haux, Shale, Nylon, and Samoa Silk. Samoa Silk is discontinued now (I believe), but Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie is a dupe for it.
This is a very easy look to achieve. I wish the colors translated as well on photo as they do in person!
1- Apply Samoa Silk all over the lid and sweep up to the crease.
2- Pat Haux all over the lid.
3- With a small brush, blend Shale into the crease.
4- Using a blending brush, dip into Samoa Silk again and very lightly blend over the top edge of Shale, into the brow bone.
5- Blend Nylon (very lightly!) over the brow bone, and blend down so everything is uniform.
6- Use whatever color eyeliner that you like (I used Starlooks Chestnut).
The result is not overly dramatic, but still draws attention to the eyes.

I keep all four of these shadows in my “every day” MAC palette, so they are some of my favorites. 🙂
Lovely EOTD babe! even i like matte shades and wear for everyday eye makeup 🙂
Thanks so much! 🙂
Nice! This is my favorite type of smokey eye look. Very neutral, very everyday-appropriate. 🙂 By default, I much prefer browns and earth tones to blacks and grays.
Thanks so much! 🙂 I am with you there- I also prefer browns. I hardly ever use black shadow!
