Pura d’or Shampoo, Conditioner, & Argan Oil

Here’s something I haven’t mentioned too often here: I have a slight obsession with trying out different types of shampoos. I don’t know why, but I’ve loved shampoo since I was a teenager, which is when I was soooo obsessed with the Herbal Essences shampoo in the pink bottle. Anyhow, I had the opportunity to try a conditioner, shampoo, and argan oil from Pura d’or. After using each for awhile, I have formed a few opinions!

Premium Organic Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo: This is designed to prevent hair loss and add volume. I don’t suffer from hair loss, but appreciate anything that adds volume to my hair. This shampoo is very thick and has a strong herbal scent. It doesn’t smell bad, but it isn’t a “crowd-pleasing” scent. It reminds me of the scent of tea tree oil. The shampoo is also difficult to disperse since it has a thick consistency. That said, I don’t think it is a bad shampoo, and it does help to leave it on for the two minutes that is recommended. It does make my hair feel really clean and cleansed.

Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Conditioner- Lavender Vanilla: I really like this conditioner! First, the scent is incredible. Also, the texture is really soft, and it makes my hair smooth and soft without being heavy. The consistency is so soft that it almost seems like a whipped mousse. Of the two, I definitely prefer the conditioner.

Pure and Organic Argan Oil: Like the Josie Maran Argan Oil, I use this on the ends of my hair and on dry skin. It works the same way and I haven’t found any huge differences between Josie Maran and other brands.

Overall, my favorite of the bunch is the Lavender Vanilla Conditioner. I also like that these products are made with natural ingredients. Everything is free of parabens and organic. I also really like the easy to use pump packaging!
