I’ve had this sample of Make Up For Ever blush in shade 410 Coral bouncing around for quite some time. I am a big MUFE fan, so I had high hopes for this blush. Previously, their cream blushes were housed in pump tubes (I had one!), but they dried up really quickly in this packaging, and the pump always dispensed way too much product. Those blushes have been replaced with the ones in pan form (old news, I know).
Coral was the exact color I would have expected. (I’m sorry my swatch photos are so bad!). It was very vibrant and a true coral- not too orange, not too pink, not too peach.
The texture of this blush is MIND BLOWING. It is so silky and blendable. A completely makeup novice would be able to work with this blush. If you’re ever in Sephora, stop by and swatch one- you’ll see what I mean! Although it blends nicely with a brush, it’s also super simple to blend with your fingers.
I wasn’t expecting the blush to last long on my skin because of how creamy it is, but surprisingly, it wore quite well. About six hours after application I checked in the mirror and could still see it on my skin. The flush that it gives is very natural looking, which I like.
So will I purchase the full-size blush? I would like to get at least one, but I’m not sure what color. I’m debating between colors 220 Pink Sand, 225 Peachy Pink, and 315 Peach Beige. 🙂 Time to Google swatches… 😉
