NYX Brow Products Review- Brow Gel, Pencil, and Pomade!

nyxbrow*Purchased by me

Now that I’ve tried all of the new NYX brow products, I thought it would be helpful to wrap them all up here. I’ve already reviewed the gel here!

NYX Control Freak Clear Brow Gel– This is a clear gel to hold your eyebrows in place. Typically, I use ELF clear mascara for this, which is $1 and works just fine. I like how lightweight the NYX gel is, but I don’t think it’s bulletproof in terms of holding the brows all day. I like it, but I’ll probably keep buying the ELF clear mascara.

NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade– I LOVE this pomade. Of all the products here, this one is my favorite. It is the perfect color for my brows, stays all day long, and doesn’t look like it’s painted on.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil– I have this in the shade taupe, and I really like it. It is EXACTLY the same as the Anastasia brow pencil. I just watched Marlena from makeup geek compare these two products, and she did the extra research to point out that they were both made in Korea (one says South Korea, the other just says Korea). Because of this, she thinks they were made in the same place. Having used both, I agree that they are the same thing. This is a stiffer pencil that takes a little time to use, but the results are super natural.

NYX Eyebrow Gel– I already reviewed this previously, but this is great if you want bulletproof brows. It has a learning curve to use, but it’s still a great product, though I do prefer the MUFE Aqua Brow.

I have the gel in Brunette, the pencil in Taupe, and the pomade in Brunette. All three are very wearable for me.

I will repurchase Tame & Frame and Micro Brow for sure. I don’t know if I will repurchase Control Freak (doubtful). I probably won’t repurchase the gel because I like the other two products better.

It’s great that drugstore brands are stepping it up in the brow world. I think these are all worth a try!
