L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Gilded Envy + FOTD

GE5*Purchased by me

I have been reaching for my L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadows quite a bit lately, especially the green and taupe shades. Gilded Envy is not a new shadow, but it is one of the newer ones in the Infallible line. I haven’t worn this nearly enough! It is truly a gorgeous shadow; some have stated it is a dupe for Chanel Epatant. I do not have this though, so I can’t compare them.

Left: dry swatch; Right: wet swatch

I prefer wearing Gilded Envy wet as opposed to dry, because it packs more of a punch. The color is a cool-toned green with gold and silver sparkle that is very subtle.

I decided to combine it with the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette (yes, I bought it!).

GE1Here’s what’s on the rest of my face!

L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Gilded Envy
MAC Groundwork Paint Pot
NYX Tame & Frame in Brunette
NYX brow gel
Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette in Whiskey, High, and Dagger
Butter London Iconoclast Mascara
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Espresso Ink

Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Bittersweet
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in 130 (old formula)
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Sand
Bobbi Brown Sandstone Shimmerbrick
LA Girl Pro Concealer in Nude

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk
MAC Creme d’ Nude lipstick

I’m using a sample of Urban Decay Bittersweet blush. I think it’s a gorgeous color, but I’m still deciding if it’s a must have, as I’m not sure how much I would wear it. The sample has quite a bit of blush on it, so I still have a couple more wears to decide! 🙂 I’m planning on reviewing the Urban Decay Smoky palette too–definitely loving it so far, but more on that one later. 😉
