VII Code O2M Oxygen Eye Mask Review!

V3*press sample

I’ve been having a big of a love affair with masks lately. Mostly face masks, but also eye masks. I went through a few samples of some eye masks that I had from various brands, and just purchased an eye mask from Sephora. I also had the VII Code O2M Oxygen Eye Mask to test out!

This is an all night, 8-hour mask. I was a little afraid to wear something on my eyes for the entire night, for a few reasons. First, I worried about being allergic to them and not being able to see in the morning. I also thought they might affect my sleep. Then, I wondered if they would make my eyes blurry and watery in the morning due to being on all night. Luckily, none of those things were a problem. I’m a little paranoid because I wear contacts.

The masks come 6 to a box ($55 per box), and are individually packaged in foil. They are very easy to apply, and feel comfortable on the skin. At first, they felt a little tingly, but eventually that went away.

I’m 34, so I’m at the age where skincare is a big priority for me. I’ve always had darker circles under my eyes, and since I stare at a computer all day, they can get puffy. I also have some signs of aging. I’m not too stressed out about wrinkles, but know they are there and on their way. 😉

In the morning, I have to admit that I was quite surprised. I can’t ever recall a time where my eyes looked so bright and NOT bluish! I didn’t think I would notice a difference, but I did! My skin looked smoother and hydrated, probably due to the amount of serum in the eye mask.

Overall, I will probably continue using these, but during the day. I really didn’t like having to sleep in these, because I could feel them on my face, which was the biggest con for me. These are also very expensive; about $9 per use. I have spent this much on a single-use mask before from other brands, so I can’t really say that I wouldn’t buy it for that reason. Everyone can decide for themselves what they are willing to spend on skincare. 🙂

Do you have any favorite face or eye masks?
