On Friday I decided to test a couple new things, and other things that I haven’t used all that much yet. My makeup routine has kind of changed in the mornings now. In addition to my full-time job, I am teaching four days a week before I do that, so I don’t spend as much time on my face as I do when I have more free time in the morning. 😉 Anyway, I am really excited to be wearing the Butter London Natural Charm Shadow Clutch today, and a couple other new goodies.
ELF Crusin’ Chic Smudge Pot
Butter London Shadow Clutch in Natural Charm (green, matte brown, and vanilla higlight)
NYX Tame and Frame Brow Pomade in Brunette
Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara
Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation in 48 Light
Clinique Cheek Pop blush in Cola
Becca Champagne Pop highlight
Jordana Matte Lipstick in Classy
I really love the Butter London Shadow Clutch! These shadows have really blown me away in terms of texture, staying power, and blendability. The Clinique Cheek Pop blush in Cola Pop is really pretty. I am still unsure of my thoughts on the formula, though the color is great for fall.
I’m late to the game on the Jordana matte lipsticks. For the price they are pretty good, but I wasn’t amazed by them just yet! The Kat Von D foundation is from a sample. I’ve tried it before, but I just do not like it. I don’t like how it feels on my skin, though it is long-wearing. It seems stiffer and more difficult to blend than Estee Lauder Double Wear (comparing since they are both full coverage). I hardly ever wear full coverage foundation, so to be honest, I wasn’t expecting to love it.
