Acure Facial Brightening Scrub Review!

acure

If you’ve been reading here for awhile, you probably already know that I LOVE my facial scrubs. 🙂 I am really excited about the one I’m talking about today.

Acure is a brand I’ve heard of, but never tried until I spotted this facial scrub at Target. At $10, it is on the more expensive than other drugstore skincare items, but not completely unreasonable. I also ended up getting a small size of this in my October Birchbox.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

“Seas” the day with natural exfoliation from the ocean! Organic Sea Kelp gently exfoliates your skin while French Green Clay and Organic Lemon Peel remove impurities from your pores. Organic Chlorella Growth Factor and Argan Stem Cells help stimulate new cell growth while providing a deep cleansing, brightening experience.

This scrub has become a new staple in my skincare routine. I absolutely love this stuff! It smells kind of minty; it definitely has a “green” smell, so if that isn’t your thing, you may not like it. The results are amazing. Any time I feel like my face isn’t smooth, or it has skin build-up, I use this scrub. I don’t feel like it is too harsh, but the granules are  on the chunky side when you go to wash it off. They kind of feel like coarse sand, so I like to use this in the shower.

I do not use this scrub to remove makeup, just to get rid of dry skin. If you’re familiar with MAC Volcanic Ash, it sort of feels like that in consistency, but a little “chunkier”. The price point on Acure is much better though, as MAC is $29 for 3.4 oz, and this is $10 for 4 oz.

I absolutely love how my skin feels after using this. It feels soft, refreshed, and just looks better overall. I definitely want to try more from Acure now, and will repurchase this product.
