I don’t know about you, but I have heard so many rave reviews about the Viseart eyeshadow palettes! The high price tag is daunting for many ($80), but I decided to splurge during the Sephora VIB sale and go for it! I ended up getting the Dark Matte palette because it is unique and something I will wear all the time.

This palette contains 12 shades ranging from dark to mid-tone colors. All of the shades are matte; a couple border on a satin finish. As most beauty junkies know, matte shadows can be pretty terrible in formula. There are a lot of wonderful matte shadows out there now, but these are definitely some of the best, if not the best, that I have ever used. I was prepared to return this palette if I didn’t like it, but I’m happy to say that I love it!

The formula is pigmented, but not overly pigmented. They build wonderfully, so you can truly control the intensity that you want. The first time I used this palette, I was kind of in a hurry, so I just used a layer of the purple color and a little bit of brown in the crease.

Another great thing about this palette is that I’ve never seen  eyeshadow with so little fallout during application.

The look above uses the burgundy shade, navy blue, the burnt orange, and a shimmery highlight from a MUFE palette.

I LOVE this palette and I would definitely buy another one. I’m hoping Sephora does that thing where they send out the $20 coupon just before the holidays, because I would definitely buy another Viseart palette!
