First Impressions: Cinderella Ready for the Ball Eyeshadow Palette

C4My dear friend alerted me to some new Cinderella beauty items on the Walgreens website, and I wasted no time getting this gigantic eyeshadow palette! We are both Disney fanatics, and have been quite impressed with the quality of these beauty books that Disney has been coming out with.

I do want to point out that this is not from ELF– ELF did have some releases with them, but Disney has been releasing things at Walgreens on their own as well (in the same style of ELF beauty books). I have been quite surprised by the quality of these beauty books and have really enjoyed the ones that I have.

This palette has 35 eyeshadows and it comes with three dual-ended sponges, which as you can see, I have used. The palette is only $15, and the packaging is beautiful. I love the drawing interpretation of Cinderella on the outside.

The shadows are a mix of satin, shimmer, metallic, and some matte shades. Some of the colors seem to have an overspray and are a different texture underneath.

The colors are more pigmented than I thought they would be. Just look at that black! The colors that aren’t super pigmented do build well.

C1Quick look

For $15, if you love Disney, this palette is a fun investment! There is also a smaller beauty book, a highlighting powder, lipsticks, and some other items in the Cinderella collection. Right now, the products say online only, but there have been some rumors of it being spotted in Walgreens stores.

I think this palette would be a lovely gift for someone who loves Cinderella, no matter what age, but especially for a younger person just starting to get into makeup. 🙂
