When I first saw the BH Cosmetics + Carli Bybel palette, I was really excited about the colors, mostly because of the highlighters. The price is just $12.50, and it was just restocked yesterday!
The palette contains ten eyeshadows and four highlighters. As you can see, this palette does reflect some Urban Decay Naked 3 vibes with the warm pinks. My favorite color in the entire palette is the second highlighter in the bottom row.
I also really like the packaging of this palette. It has a white quilted-looking design with a large mirror on the inside. The palette is cardboard, so it is very lightweight.
The palette is of good quality for the price. The highlighters are very soft and can be a little powdery, but they last for a long time and look beautiful on the skin. They provide a nice glow and don’t accentuate pores, which is always a plus.
The eyeshadows are actually a lot nicer than I thought they would be. Typically, I find that BH palettes can be hit or miss, but this one is very pigmented, and the metallic colors are especially smooth. Like any palette, the matte shades tend to be a little more difficult to work with than the metallics, but I’ve had no problems creating looks with this palette. Like other shadows, they are more vibrant with a base. I always wear a primer with my eyeshadow. The swatches are not over a primer!
For the price, I think this palette is worth it if you enjoy these kinds of shades. Yes, I can probably dupe all of these colors with the shadows I already have, but I really like this palette and am glad that I purchased it.
