Choix Beauty Subscription Review

choix*purchased by me

Choix is a unique subscription service. For $20 per month, you can choose 5 luxury makeup samples. Each month, you also earn 250 points, which equals a $5 credit. The maximum redemption is $15 off a $50 or more purchase. You can cancel the subscription at any time as well.

choix2Here are the five samples I picked out:

Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation Shade S103 (retail $90)
Dior Vibrant Colour Powder Blush in New Red (retail $42)Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long-Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Epatant (retail $36)
Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight (retail $44)
Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in Adrienne (retail $36)

choix3The samples come in small plastic containers and I think the sizes are pretty generous. I’ve already used the blush three times, the highlighter three times, and the lipstick twice, and I haven’t even hit pan on them yet!

I chose samples based on things I have wanted to try in the past and didn’t, and the foundation was just a random item I picked out.

choix4Chanel Adrienne

One reason that I find this service so fun is because I don’t live anywhere near a Chanel counter, or other luxury brands. If you can’t sample these things in person, this is a nice option! You can also purchase samples without having a subscription. Each sample is $5.

So far I think this is a fun subscription. I’m going to give it three months and see how it goes!

Have you tried this before or heard of it?
