Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette Review

BB3*Purchased by me

Pink…hearts…everything cute…I knew there was no point resisting the new Too Faced palette, which looks like a sweet little valentine and smells like chocolate. This palette contains 14  x 1 gram of eyeshadow in the pan, and 2 larger shadows that are 2.2 grams (both of these shades are lighter brow bone colors).

BB4

Most of the pans are heart-shaped and completely cute. I love the mixture of warm, pink-toned colors with the splash of cool tones. The color variety allows for a huge variety of looks. I’ve been able to create several looks with this already.

BB5Again, heart pans. They are just too cute! 🙂

The textures are the same as the previous incantations of the chocolate bar theme. One thing I noticed with these is that they go on with a brush in a more pigmented manner than finger swatches, so if you’re in the store swatching the palette, that’s something to keep in mind. I especially found that true with Totally Fetch (which is gorgeous and one of the first shades I wore).

BB2Bordeaux, Almond Truffle, Molasses Cup, Cafe Au Lait, Totally Fetch, Dark Truffle, Earl Grey, Satin Sheets

My favorite shades in the palette are Almond Truffle, Dark Truffle, Totally Fetch, Molasses Chip, and Satin Sheets.

I think the color selection in this palette is one of its most positive attributes. Sometimes neutral palettes may seem like the same color repeated over and over again when you finally end up using it on the eyes. That is not the case here!

BB1Wearing Black Currant on the lid, Almond Truffle and Bordeaux in the crease, Satin Sheets on the brow bone (and I used a Maybelline Color Tattoo for a pop of lilac in the center).

I really love this palette and think it is just beautiful. And if you think you won’t use Totally Fetch (ahem, KP if you are reading this), try blending it out a bit with some other shades. You may be pleasantly surprised. 🙂
