Pan That Palette 2016!

If you read my New Year’s post here, you already know that my friend and I are on a challenge to not buy eyeshadow in 2016 (*SOB*). In addition to that, I decided it would be fun to try and hit pan on a palette. My palette of choice is the Stila In the Light palette.

A little bit of backstory: I believe “Pan That Palette” was started in 2014 by Amber F on YouTube. She used up her entire Naked palette, and in 2015 she used up the Lorac PRO palette. I don’t want to use up an entire palette (let’s be real here–not happening), but I DO want to hit pan on some shades.

I chose this palette for several reasons. As you can tell by looking at it, it’s pretty beat up! It looks dirty, but I wipe off the cardboard frequently. It is simply a well-loved palette. You also can’t tell by looking at it that there are several shades with decent dips in them already. Bare, Kitten, Bliss, Champagne, and Gilded Gold all have dents in them.

Another reason I chose this palette is because I can pair neutrals with colorful shades easily!

The smudge stick is long gone as well (used up).

I will likely hit pan on Kitten first, or maybe Champagne!
