My nighttime skincare routine is really slacking. By the end of the day, I typically want to hop into bed as quickly as possible. My life, like most people, is very busy (in a GOOD way), and I am admittedly very lazy in the evening and don’t spend enough time on my skin! I’ll be 35 soon, so I know this is a crucial point in my life to be taking care of my skin.
One of my skin concerns is the area around my eyes. My eyes are deep set, which I think tends to emphasize everything, including any hint of being tired.
I received the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex II in a bag of samples awhile ago, and have since fallen in love with it to the point that I used Sephora points perks to get three more mini sizes, since it is rather expensive ($58 for .5 oz).
Description
A soothing serum that repairs past visible damage around the eyes.
A little goes a long way with this eye cream. It is very silky and extremely hydrating. When I use this before bed, I always notice a different in how my skin looks in the morning. It definitely looks healthier and less tired, and just more hydrated.
Most importantly, it doesn’t irritate my eyes! In the past, I have been reluctant to try eye products because I’ve had allergic reactions that are extremely painful. I also wear contacts, and it’s important to me to be able to wear them daily (I only wear my glasses at night).
Sephora currently has this product available as a 100-point perk, which is a great time to try it without a financial commitment.
Ah it sounds like a lovely eye cream! i love Estee Lauder skincare xx

I’m surprised how much I like it! I typically can’t stand most eye creams I try! 🙂 I would like to try more EL skincare after this!
Does it have any retinol in it?
I’m not sure, actually (I wish I was more helpful!). There is a full ingredients list here: http://www.paulaschoice.com/beautypedia-skin-care-reviews/by-brand/estee-lauder/Advanced-Night-Repair/_/Advanced-Night-Repair-Eye-Synchronized-Complex-II
