Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette Review

g1*purchased by me

I am really enjoying Gwen Stefani’s line with Urban Decay. Currently, I have one lip liner, the blush palette, and eyeshadow palette. Today we’re going to check out the blush palette!

First of all, let’s talk packaging. I LOVE this packaging! It’s sturdy and chic; I love the white and gold theme.

The price on this is very reasonable: $45 for six colors. The pans are also quite large.

The colors include:

  • Cherry (light pink satin)
  • Easy (deep rose w/gold shimmer)
  • Angel (champagne-nude shimmer)
  • Lo-Fi (soft bronze matte)
  • Hush (medium pink w/gold shimmer)
  • OC (soft pink w/peach shift)

g2There is a very large mirror on the inside, and the corner says “Magic’s in the Makeup”. I think this is a cute touch. The colors seem best suited for light to medium skin tones, which does make sense for Gwen. Deeper skin tones may want to swatch this first!

My favorite blush color has been Cherry thus far. I am not sure why, but I just can’t get enough pink blush colors this winter. 🙂 All of the colors are very smooth and pigmented.

I don’t think the formula is exactly the same as their single blushes, but they are very similar. Both are very soft and smooth, but I think these ones are a little less intense in pigment, making them easier to use.

Cherry, Easy, Angel, Lo-Fi, Hush, and OC

Easy is a very unique color, at least to me. It is another favorite in the bunch! I also adore OC, since peach is one of my favorite colors. Hush is a gorgeous highlight, and I have used Lo-Fi the least of the crew.

I think this palette is fantastic for the blush enthusiast, someone who wants a range of colors all in one place, and of course those who can’t get enough Urban Decay or Gwen Stefani.
