Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation Review

The Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil is described as “a revolutionary medium-to-full coverage skin care foundation fluid powered by 100 percent pure argan oil and nutrient-rich pigments for vibrant, glowing skin.” I received this sample from a Sephora order and have been testing it out in the shade Euphoric, which is for light skin tones with neutral undertones.

vibancy2The bottle is adorable! I love the colorful swirled paint/agate style design with the rose gold cap. There are 14 shades and the full size is $45.

I’ve worn this sample several times now and there are a few qualities I like, and a few things that just don’t work for me. I absolutely love the texture of this foundation. It is so silky, soft, and smooth! Unfortunately, this translate into never drying on my face for some reason–I always feel like I just put it on and I can feel it all day long.

Another issue I have with this foundation is that it doesn’t stay on my nose very well. Because of the silky texture, it really slides around on the skin a lot, so blending can be tricky.

This foundation doesn’t have any heavy scents, and it is medium coverage. In my experience, trying to achieve full coverage makes this foundation very cakey and just too thick.

I love how this foundation makes the skin look with a thin layer, as it does achieve the radiance it promises. The Vibrancy foundation is very dewy, making it easy to get glowing skin. It also looks beautiful in photos. Perhaps I would like this more during cooler months of the year, but at the moment I just don’t think this foundation is for me.

Have you tried this foundation? What do you think of it?
