The Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick

pore*deluxe Sephora sample

The Estee Edit made a big splash this spring as being the newer, hipper version of Estee Lauder. I received this Pore Vanishing Stick as a deluxe sample with a Sephora order. I have larger pores in a few areas on my face, so I was interested in trying this out!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Banish the look of pores—instantly—with the Pore Vanishing Stick. With a single swipe, pores appear blurred, skintone looks more even, and shine and oil are reduced. This dual-action formula has an outer core of oil-absorbing powders and an inner core with a sheer pigment that fits all skintones.

There is no color from the core, so this will work for everyone. In a nutshell, I am madly in love with this stick and will repurchase the full size when I’m done with this one. I’ve basically been wearing this without foundation and just a matte powder on top. It smooths my skin and lessens the visibility of the larger pores on my face. It’s very smooth and glides on easily. I haven’t found it to leave any residue behind.

I have worn it over foundation, and it works fine, but my preference is definitely on bare skin as a primer with a little powder on top. It has been super hot here lately, so I appreciate that it aids with mattifying the skin without making it look dry. I do reapply throughout the day and usually use it on the tops of my cheeks, center of the forehead, and the center of my chin.

This has been one of my favorite pore vanishing products, and I especially love that it is in stick form! 🙂

I wish the Pore Vanishing Stick had worked for me! Everyone I know loves it but I didn’t think it did anything for my pores. It did provide a nice smooth base for my foundation though!
