The June Play! box had a lot of fun stuff in it. The theme is “The Minimalists.”
Benefit They’re Real Mascara— I’ve tried this before and like it; however, it is REALLY difficult to remove. I find it a little harsh because of that, but I will still use it.
Tocca Florence Sample–Another item I’ve tried in the past. This smells beautiful and is appropriate for summer.
Bumble and Bumble Don’t Blow It— The description: “A first-of-its-kind hair cream that enhances texture and body for the perfect air-dried style.” I am currently testing this out because I’ve been trying to avoid drying my hair. I’m pretty particular about hair products, so I need to use it more. So far, I don’t love it or hate it.
Bare Minerals BareSkin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer— I don’t have any strong opinions about this just yet, but I like the consistency of this formula and the color is very beautiful. I’ve used it on the outside of my face a few times, but want to mix it into a tinted moisturizer to see how that looks.
Becca Backlight Priming Filter— This is a big sample! I haven’t tried this one yet, but am excited to test it.
Tarte Tarteguard SPF 30— I have some strong, negative opinions about this sunscreen. First, the sample is really difficult to get out of the bottle. Never mind that though, the product itself is incredibly greasy and has a very strong scent. I don’t mind the scent necessarily, but the sunscreen is very thick and makes me look like an oil slick.
Overall, this is a great selection of products and I’m excited about the brands that were included.
