This month’s Boxycharm theme is “Groovy Town,” which I adore for the 60s/70s vibe. Not only that, the contents make this the best Boxycharm yet this year, which I thought would be hard to beat since we recently received this palette. Happily, we received another palette this month and some other great products.
Makeup Geek Blush in Blind Date: This is a lovely color for me; coral pink and it has a matte finish. I really like the other MUG blush I received from Boxycharm, and am happy this one is a different color family. It’s full-size and retails for $10.
Studio Makeup Eyeshadow Palette in Cool Down: This palette is full of rich cool tones and a mix of satin, metallic, and even a glittery shade. I LOVE the colors and cannot wait to test it out on my eyes!
Vintage Illuminating Face Highlighter in Rose Gold: I was completely shocked to receive this, because I was under the impression I was getting either the blush OR the highlighter, not both! I am thrilled to get this and the color is GORGEOUS.
Crown Brush Pro Detail Crease Brush: I’m always up for a makeup brush, and I like these small detail brushes. It doesn’t feel super soft, but that might change upon washing it.
Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Cream: I am happy to receive this as I have actually purchased it twice on my own. This is a lovely cooling cream that is soothing on the skin under the eyes.
Boxycharm is $21 per month and comes with 5 full-size items each month. You also get “charms” for each box, which can be redeemed for coupons to use in the shop. I have yet to redeem any charms. You can also earn charms by referring friends.
If you have tried this subscription service, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! 🙂
