Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Luminous Lip Crayon in Malibu

*purchased by me

The Juice Beauty Luminous Lip Crayon ($22) is a vegan and cruelty-free lip color made with hydrating, organic ingredients like mango seed butter. I have the shade Malibu, which is a nice every day peachy pink that goes with just about everything.

There is so much to love about this lip crayon. First, it isn’t drying, and it is nicely pigmented. It’s very creamy and easy to apply, and it doesn’t get stuck on dry patches (yay!). I love how this feels on my lips because it is very lightweight, and Malibu doesn’t require a ton of precision because it is such a natural color. Yes, I need a mirror to apply, but the formula is such that it doesn’t need babysitting upon application.

In addition to my full-time job, I teach one writing class per semester at a local college. This means I am talking A LOT, so I often don’t wear anything on my lips to class, unless it’s a really sheer gloss. I’m always afraid of a darker color transferring or getting all over my lips or face, so I keep it simple, because I’m not about to start whipping out a mirror in front of my students! I’ve been wearing Malibu a lot to class because it is comfortable and low maintenance. I also haven’t had any issues with it slipping onto my face while I’m blabbing away in front of my students. 🙂

These lip crayons have a nice satin finish and are simply put, easy to wear. I love this color so much that I have actually been toting it around from vanity to purse on a daily basis!
