I’ve been having a lot of fun lately playing with my blush stash! There’s just something about spring that makes me want to pay attention to blush more. These are the ones that I have been keeping in my vanity drawer rotation.
First up is the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani cheek palette, in particular Cherry and Easy. I love this entire palette, but those two blushes are the ones I’ve been wearing the most. Easy is a color that is unique compared to the other blushes I own.
Clinique Nude Pop is probably my most used blush, which you can definitely see from the picture. It’s basically the perfect neutral peach that goes with every single kind of makeup look you can imagine. It’s easy to blend, lightweight, and long-lasting. I can’t rave about this one enough!
NARS Olympia is a contouring blush palette that I’ve had a love-hate relationship with in the past! I wasn’t crazy about it at first due to the color being a little light, but I have become a fan of it over time.
Nuelle from Kevyn Aucoin is part of a duo, and it’s a lovely cream blush. The color is another nice neutral, and I love how easy it is to blend, and the finish is stunning! It always looks natural and it lasts for a long time on my skin.
I can’t believe I haven’t done a solo post on Surratt Guimauve before. This is another one of my favorite blushes. It’s described as “marshmallow pink,” which definitely fits. It’s a cheerful light pink that really brightens up the complexion.
MAC Make You Mine is a Prolongwear blush that is a gorgeous, satiny salmon color. I adore MAC blushes and this one has a lovely formula that is very easy to blend. It is SUPER pigmented though, so not much is needed. I think this one would be even more beautiful on medium to deep skin tones.
Do you have any spring blush favorites, or recommendations?
I say spring and it’s currently snowing… 😉
