Fiona Stiles Mistake-Free Eye & Face Contouring Palette!

*purchased by me

This Fiona Stiles palette was a purchase I made during the holidays last year after finding it in Ulta, and really falling for one of the blushes in the palette. This is the only thing I have tried from the brand, and it includes a selection of what the brand has to offer.

Although the packaging is bulky, it is very sturdy and contains everything you would need for a makeup look:

  • Canyon eyeshadow quad (which is sold separately)
  • Bronzing Sun Veil in Western
  • Light Illusion Focus Powders
  • Soft Cheek Veil in Lex
  • Soft Cheek Veil in Maiden Lane

Lex is the apricot blush that really made me swoon over the palette initially.

I absolutely love this kit! The colors are stunning–rich, but still natural, and you can create beautiful, easy looks with it. I think my favorite part of the kit after using it are definitely the eyeshadows (not a surprise), but all of the products blend well and are pigmented.

If you love an in your face highlight, I don’t think you will achieve it with these ones, as the powders are more subtle. That said, it probably wouldn’t be “mistake-free” with an in your face highlighter.

The eyeshadow quad in Canyon contains four very warm shades, including a gorgeous copper, which I’m wearing on the lid in this look. The shadows are pigmented but not heavy, and very smooth. There was very little fallout when I applied these, which is welcome since I do wear contacts. I have to be careful about getting product in my eyes when I’m wearing shadows, otherwise I end up ruining my contacts sooner than necessary.

If you’re a fan of peach, you will probably love the outcomes you can achieve with this kit. I also have used the bronzer as an eyeshadow shade, which works as well, especially if you want a deeper crease color. Here, I paired it with Shy Girl from MAC.

The blushes are stiffer in texture than the bronzer and eyeshadow, but they still blend nicely and last for a long time. After testing both, my favorite is still the peach color, but the pink shade really brightens up the complexion.

The result with this palette will be soft and pretty, so I do believe it fits the “mistake-free” claim. This isn’t on Ulta’s website anymore, and it looks like as of right now, most items from the brand are half off. If you are interested in only the Canyon quad, it’s currently $14, but they have other quads available as well. This palette was a win for me and I’m happy that I purchased it!
