Wet ‘n’ Wild PhotoFocus Foundation Review

*purchased by me

The drugstore has hit some major home runs in the foundation department in the last two years. After hearing many raves about this newer one from Wet ‘n’ Wild, I decided to spend the six bucks and test it out for myself! I purchased the shade Light Medium Neutral, which is a perfect match for me.

This foundation is in a glass jar and the applicator is a plastic wand. Since the foundation is very fluid and runs easily, this can get messy, so take care not to get this all over your clothes! The glass jar does feel very nice and luxurious; it certainly has some heft.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Light Medium Neutral, L’Oreal Pro-Glow 203 Nude Beige

One thing that impressed me with this foundation is the color match; it truly is neutral and very similar in tone to my L’Oreal Pro-Glow foundation in the shade 203 Nude Beige. I love both of these foundations; however, Wet ‘n’ Wild is cruelty free and $5 cheaper than L’Oreal, and while similar on the skin, I think it looks better than the L’Oreal counterpart.

Wearing PhotoFocus foundation in Light Medium Neutral

I hands down love this foundation. It has a beautifully natural finish and doesn’t look cakey; it blends easily and doesn’t irritate my skin. It actually reminds me a lot of NARS Sheer Glow, but with a touch more coverage. PhotoFocus is medium coverage, but buildable. I love that this foundation isn’t heavy and doesn’t feel like my pores are clogged when I wear it. It is also long lasting, but doesn’t wear away in a patchy manner the way some foundations do. This foundation has me wanting to try the powder counterpart as well!

Between the beautiful finish and the small investment, this foundation is worth trying! I love it!
