Have you t ried the Maleficient beauty powder? Its very sheer with a very slight pink undertone. I am NW15, and I can use it as an all over powder with other foundations that have a little yellow in them, and a highlighter with my new beloved MAC mineralize moisture foundation in NW15, a brand new color! And they have NW13 for the dead of winter and NW 18 for summer. I tried NW20, the lightest NW color when it was released last year, and it was too dark, could use it if I get a tan, but that hasn’t happened in a few years. I never saw the Marilyn beauty powder, but I adore the Maleficient one,and I bought two already!! I also bought the Lightscape mineralize skinfinish but I am having a hard time making it work, maybe I should dtry soft and gentle, it was one shade deeper and pinker, how do you use it?

Hi Ellen! I do not have the Malificent beauty powder. I love the Marilyn beauty powder though. I use it for many things…highlighting, setting under eye powder, etc. Soft and Gentle is incredible! I use it for highlighting and it is one of those shades that looks good on everyone!

I bought the Sharon Osbourne mineralize skinfinish duo. The highlighter in there is perfect!! Firt time I]ve ever liked a highlighter. I called MAC to see which color is closest to it (I didn’t want to buy another because it is only one quarter of the pan and the bronzer is very peanut butter brown,, but as Iuse it I find ways to make it work with layers). They say soft and gentle is the closest, but swatches I”ve seen are more beiige than warm pink. I may swap my Lightscape for Soft and Gently. It seems MAC has revamped the whole mineralize line, which is fine with me, I love it. I just can’t find a shade of mineralize skinfinish natural that is not too yellow for my skin. I am NW15, and the light and light plus are very yellow. I have to check which powders you mentioned above!

They have revamped…I haven’t purchased any of the new ones yet though!
